Gina Farmer

The Practice

I specialise in the assessment and therapy for children and young adults with delayed or disordered motor skills. I also have an interest in treating children complaining of joint or muscle pains including back and abdominal pain.

I have a BSc. (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Kings College University in London and have specialised in Paediatrics since 1998. For more information have a look at my CV or my LinkedIn Profile which include details of my career history and professional experience.

  2. I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC): reg no 49614.
  3. I am recognised by most insurance companies including BUPA .

  4. I am also a registered 'Movement for Learning and Life' practitioner (November 2008)

I am currently involved in a multi-disciplinary special interest group looking into using physiotherapy to help children with chronic abdominal pain. Our initial research supports our theory that physiotherapy can be an effective treatment for this condition where time of day, change of position or activity make symptoms worse.
